CREATIVE THINKING
I chose to design an origami learning app aimed at people who rarely use smartphones — older adults looking to pick up a new hobby and engage with something tactile and rewarding. The concept was built around resisting the design conventions of modern apps: no notifications, no streaks, no pressure to return. Just a simple, open space you come back to when you feel like it. The app is structured around difficulty, moving from simple to complex folds, with each level named after a classic origami figure. Frog, petal, dragon, giving the progression a sense of character without feeling like a game.
